CARMEN BRAGG AND BRYAN JAMES ARE FOUL SHOOTING STATE CHAMPS AT THE 2011 MAINE McDONALD'S ALL-STAR BASKETBALL GAMES


Bangor, Maine (March 12, 2011) -- The Maine State Foul Shooting Champions were decided on today at the Maine McDonald's Senior All-Star Basketball Games at Husson University in Bangor.

Carmen Bragg of Washburn District High School hit 49 out of 50 shots winning the Maine State Foul Shooting competition for the girls.

Bryan James of Lee Academy won the boys Foul Shooting Championship title sinking 48 out of 50 shots.

The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) organized competitions earlier this year to determine the regional finalists who competed for the State Championship during All-Star weekend.

Following is a list of all the Regional Foul Shooting champs participating in this morning’s state title competition:

Girls
North Region: Carmen Bragg, Washburn District H.S.
East Region: Abby Pyne, John Bapst Memorial H.S.
Central Region: Danielle Spaulding, Lawrence H.S. 

South Region: Frankie Lally, Edward Little H.S.

BOYS
North Region: Travis Dyer, Presque Isle H.S.
East Region: Bryan James, Lee Academy
Central Region: Josh Turbide – Dirigo H.S.
South Region: Theo Bowe, Cape Elizabeth H.S.
