PORTLAND, ME (March 1, 2010) – Today the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) and local Maine McDonald's owner/operators announced the seven finalists for the 2010 Mr. and Miss Basketball Awards. The awards will be presented at the Maine McDonald’s High School Senior All-Star Awards Banquet on Friday, March 12th at Husson University in Bangor. The award, the state's highest basketball honor, recognizes players’ performances on the court, as well as their contribution to their team and basketball in the state of Maine.
Finalists selected for the title of Miss Basketball 2010 are:

Claire Ramonas - Deering High School
Jennifer Nale - Waterville High School

Keegan Hyland - South Portland High School
Mr. and Miss Basketball award winners will be announced at the Maine McDonald's All-Star Banquet beginning at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, March 12 at Husson University's Newman Gymnasium. Additionally, All-Star players, All-Star coaches, members of the All-State Academic teams, Regional Foul Shooting Champions, the Maine McDonald’s Spirit of the Games recipients, and the MABC Contributor Award and Media Award honorees will be recognized at the awards banquet.
