Bangor, Maine (March 11, 2011) - The Maine McDonald's® Owner/Operator Association presented its third annual Maine McDonald's Spirit of the Game Award to Sarah Assante of Bonny Eagle H.S., Kyle McKim of Mount Desert Island H.S. and Graham Safford of Hampden Academy. The three student-athletes received their awards at the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches Awards Banquet on March 11 at Husson University in Bangor. In addition, the recipients each received a $500 Spirit Scholarship to assist with their higher education needs.

Carolyn Joseph of St. Dominic Academy and Michael McCann of Winslow High School each received a $2,000 scholarship award at the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) Awards Banquet at Husson University.

The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) organized competitions earlier this year to determine the regional finalists who will compete for the State Championship during the Maine McDonald's High School Senior All-Star weekend. The State Foul Shooting Competition will be held from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at Husson University in Bangor.

AUGUSTA, Maine (February 23, 2011) -- The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) today announced selections for the 2011 Maine McDonald's® High School Senior All-State Academic Team.
