2009 Results

The 2009 Maine McDonald's High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games, held on March 14th, were an exciting day of basketball.

Boys A/B

The Boys A/B West Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Boys A/B East All-Star Team by a score of  112 - 81.

Eddie Bogdanovich of Portland High School led the way for the West with 21 points. James Morse of Thornton Academy followed closely with 20.  Corey Therriault of Edward Little High School led the East team with 14 points.  Russ Mortland of Presque Isle High School had 11 points.

Boys C/D

The Boys C/D East Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Boys C/D West All-Star Team by a score of  88-79.

Mannny Martinez of Central Aroostook High School led the way for the East with 18 points and Aaron Hutchins of Schenck High School was 5 for 6 from the free throw line.  The high scorer for the West was Thomas Knight of Dirigo High School with 21 points and Nick Hinkley of Wiscasset High School was 7 for 8 from the free throw line.

Girls A/B

The Girls A/B West Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Girls A/B East All-Star Team by a score of  66 - 51.

Michelle Williams of Marshwood High School and Nyachuol Biliew of Portland High School led the way for the West with 12 points each. Claire Baecher of Brunswick High School and Morgan Frame of Waterville High School were top scorers for the East.

Girls C/D

The Girls C/D East Senior All-Star Team defeated the Girls C/D West All-Star Team by a score of  73 – 54

Maddy Park of George Stevens Academy led the way for the East with 11 points. Samantha Lyons of Stearns High School and Erica Lyford of Penquis Valley High School each contributed 10 points.  Kenni Norton of Mt Abram High School led the West team with 12 points.  Mariam Qazi of Waynflete School added 9 and Lindsay Henderson of Buckfield High School added 8 points.
